Vanadanite Clusters

Vanadinite is a rare member of the Apatite family, combining lead, vanadium, oxygen, and chlorine. Vanadinite's origin and discovery is a bit unknown with certain individuals claiming ownership years before its official discovery in 1838. In 1801 it is on record that Andrés Manuel del Río discovered a  new mineral in Mexico.
